Node Operating Instructions

⚠️ WARNING: Do not connect to multiple large hubs at the same time.
Doing so may result in this node being banned and connections blocked.

AllStar Linking:

To find other nodes to connect to, visit the stats.allstarlink.org website to view lists of active nodes, keyed nodes, and a map of nodes.

To connect to another AllStar node, dial *3 then the node number.
Example: To connect to node 2000, dial *32000.
To disconnect from a node, dial *1 then the node number or *76 to disconnect all.

EchoLink: (DTMF commands only available via node 501260)

EchoLink calls start with 3 and must be padded to 7 digits.
To connect to another EchoLink node, dial *3 3 then the node number.
Example: To connect to EchoTest Conference, dial *3 followed by 3009999.
If you call a 6-digit EchoLink node, you would dial *3 followed by 3123456.
To disconnect from an EchoLink node, dial *1 3 <6-digit node number>.

Resetting the Node:

When you are finished using the system, please dial *52 to reset the node to its default configuration. This disconnects all links and reconnects to the N6LKA Hub (501265), leaving the system ready for the next user.

Auto-Reset (backup): As a courtesy to other users, an automatic reset will occur after one (1) hour of inactivity (no received RF signal) if you forget to reset manually.

Weekly Amateur Radio News Broadcasts:

When available, the following news programs are re-transmitted on the N6LKA Repeater (node 501260):
